Hi, lets look at my writing here about my lovely organization that still I joint since year 2001 until present. What suppose Im doing here in GPMS UiTM maybe you can answer it by yourself. At lease Im born to be myself.
Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung or GPMS had been formed on the 14th and 15th August 1948, nine years earlier than the declaration and the independence of Malaysia. GPMS had contributed so much towards the development of the Malays students by providing them with education program, charity, cultural, religious and leadership. The entire program organized by GPMS is basically under the objectives of improving the conditions of the Malay students from every level possible.
Not only that GPMS also strive to help the less capable and less fortunate and spread the awareness to the Malay students of how important teamwork, unity, tolerate and empathy towards the society. This shall develop not only a well academic achievement student but also a sensitive student towards the people around them.
GPMS also wants to develop, Malays that are independent and compatible with other races in Malaysia. This is because, although the government had provided the Malays with all the facilities and specialties, they are still left behind in many things especially in education and economy. GPMS shall forever and always helping the government in improving the living status of the Malays and the education achievements of the Malay students.
GPMS is have all over Malaysia included Sabah & Sarawak. One of the special things about GPMS is, it have a branch in high institute and universities. One of the oldest is GPMS Cawangan Khas UiTM Shah Alam. Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung Cawangan Khas Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia Shah Alam (GPMS-UiTM Shah Alam) had been formed on 21 June 1974 while Tun Mahathir Mohamad was been Minister of Education. His agenda is to be formed the spirit of education of Malays and Bumiputra students inside and realize how is education important to their life to develop the nation and country. While, Dato’ Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin at that time are the Special Ofiicer for Minister of Education has helped so much to settled the student problem with all add up inside the campus.
Since 2001, I have joint GPMS Cawangan Khas UiTM Shah Alam. Many archievement and program with a lot of activities had been organized to develop the student inside campus and also to the primary and secondary schools. GPMS UiTM Shah Alam also had organized program that helps the society with 'bakti siswa'or called Operasi Khidmat Masyarakat (OPKIM) and education learning trough outdoor activities like PMA (Perkhemahan Mesra Alam), ERA (Ekspidisi Rakan Alam) and also KGO (Kem Gerakan Obor). GPMS also have organized some small activities like hiking, picnic, kayaking and explore the nature to get close with the target audience. Each activities had some target & mission to accomplish. My target and objectives is, may all of the program that will be conducted shall reached their objectives and could create a generation of students that are versatile, full of empathy, awareness and motivated. May all student be proud of who they are and proud of their culture and have a high patriotic awareness due to the rapid changes of globalization.
Also, Im focus to upgrading my job...confirm my second research issues...developing the idea for IP registration...add in some tutorial for my teaching portfolio....do a online subject expert...and try to get dana or grant for all of this. Still on development process...working design interior for my future home...
